Salford Action Plan
The University Executive has the primary management responsibility for Equality and Diversity matters, for compliance, the development of strategy and the monitoring and reviewing of performance against targets and for assuring that appropriate resources are allocated.
Previously the University’s approach to implementing Equality and Diversity has been to have multiple action plans at school and department level. It is proposed that the existing action plan is divided into two areas: Corporate responsibilities and actions; and Professional Services actions.
This will be done by:
- Having the overall Corporate Action Plan
- Having Professional Services Action Plan
integrating Equality and Diversity will take place in line with the process outlined in the process map
- Corporate Action Plan
- Professional Services Action/Improvement Plans
- College and School Improvement Plans (to be updated based on the review of actions and associated deliverables being undertaken in the current action plan)
